1. LAT8881 has shown positive results in muscle and cartilage repair in in-vitro tests completed in March 2012 at the Mt. Sinai Hospital in Toronto, Canada under the direction of Professor Marc Grynpas and Professor Rita Kandel. The research results provide evidence that LAT8881:
Has a positive reparative effect on cartilage tissue formation. LAT8881 was found to enhance cartilage tissue formation by increasing the proteoglycan (cellular matrix) and collagen content of cartilage;
2. Enhances the differentiation of muscle progenitor cells (cells that create muscle cells) to muscle cells enabling a repair to occur.
No cell toxicity was caused by LAT8881 in any of the studies.
